Does time away really help the soul?

As many of you know, I was recently on vacation to Pam Desert to soak up some sub, play some golf, relax by the pool, and go to Disneyland. While my objective of relaxing wasn't exactly attained because of having to small children, I was able to get a few naps in here and there poolside. And what magical wonders those provided. It always surprises me that when I get outside my normal daily flow and rest, how my mind is able to recharge, my heart is filled up, and my attitude turns more and more into gratitude for the things and people I have in my life, including you,d ear reader. So it got me thinking.. do I really need to go to the Sunshine to attain this rest? The answer is NO! You can rest anywhere. What it does take is some conscious effort to set out time for yourself to be still, so that you can recharge. As we know, the body heals in a state of rest and relaxation, so get yours! Yes, you will have to miss a football game here or there on TV, but I think it's worth it. If you are really brave, take with you one question, but do not plan to solve it... Say what!? What I mean is something happens when you take a question or issue into silence. There you are met with only what your heart and soul can do- which is to problem solve- without problem solving. No pros and cons lists. Just "Be" alone and there you will be met. Still confused? Try it first and get back to me if you have more specific questions. Well that wraps up this week's blog update. Look for more updates via video coming soon. Also, we are having our Massage BOGO this month so stock up before the holidays roll around.

Here's to a healthier you,
