Workshops Online Soon

I am excited to say that after much internal debate, I've decided to host my workshops online so the practice member may attend at their convenience. The reason for this is that I believe that the time we host them is not congruent with most people's schedules. This results in a lower percentage of people hearing VITAL information regarding their health and the health of their families. So I will start by presenting my Half Hour to Health #1 workshop on video and then post it so that a higher amount of people can view it from the comfort of their home or workplace. I think this will allow us to serve more people in a less threatening way. As always, I am open to suggestions on topics and as always, if you have a group that meets regularly and want to host me as a speaker, I am willing. Blessings, Dr. Scott

Let's Get Digital, Digital...

We are on our way towards the future. Last Saturday, we had a professional film made of our office and a quick overview of what we do. Here's why: what I've found is that my some of my most wonderful patients with the best testimonials have no idea how to explain what we do to their friends or family members. The awesome patient wants their friends to get in so they can enjoy the same benefits but stumbles on the basics of chiropractic. So what I've done is create a five minute DVD for those people to give to their prospective friends so I can do the talking for them. Being a consumer myself, I can come up with some skepticism myself when handed a basic business card or even office brochure, so this DVD will be our next step to the future. Again with our focus being family wellness to see a happier, healthier Vancouver, we need your help in spreading the good news of safe, natural chiropractic. Thanks and be well, Dr. Scott

Where does the time go?

As I look at the last time I posted, I realized time has slipped right by me. Hmmmm , sound familiar. It was yesterday that I was setting my New Year's resolutions and now almost 5 months have gone by. If you're like me, sometimes even the best intentions (like updating a blog) get put on the back burner. I see that it has been put on the calendar and yet, I forget to check it or something else urgent comes up. So how have you been doing on following through with the goals you set 5 months ago. Have you slipped into the old habits, or are you charging through on to health, happiness, and abundance. A key to remember is that even if you fall off the wagon to get back up and move forward not dwell on your shortcomings. I can't tell you how many times I run into people approaching speed bumps in their healing, exercising, nutritional change, relaxation implementation or what, and once they have a slip up, they quit their progress. Isn't that exactly what got us in our pred

Thank You Vancouver Piano Club

Part of being a wellness facility in Vancouver means that we are apart of bringing health to our community in the form of educational workshops, spinal screenings, coporate lunch and learns, and more. Today I had the opportunity to speak to a wonderful group of women from the Vancouver Piano Club. Fortunately, I had "the in" from a patient who set us up for this talk about 6 months ago. We gave them three options of workshops to choose from, and they decided on a going for the "Break free from Stress" workshop. I thorooughly enjoyed myself and I think I was able to bring good education to those that might not have known how stress affects your health. Although there were many take aways that the group received, they sure weren't sure on how the nervous system being in tuned can play a huge role in stress reduction. It is so valuable for to me know what I know and how knowing that chiropractic adjustments turn on the God-given human potential is so amazing. Day a
